It seems Divine speaks in intricate song. Each expression speaks and sings: an individual human being, a day, a mountain, rain, and on and on throughout every piece and part of life.

A ceremony or ritual is our song that we sing back to Sacred.

Perhaps this is how to be a Mirror.

Disorganized or unaware non-response is oblivious to the communication of Divine. The many opportunities present themselves—the many Faces of Divine. Do we look up, recognize something, and honor that Divine being-ness? These are all moments to weave ourselves into the web of All Our Relations.

Our offerings, our ceremonies are artworks, technologies…an elaborate response to our Mother-Father, to our ancestors, to our Creator/Creative origins. It is a love song to the Birther and to the Harvester, who are one.

We are the Corn, weaving patters of love and awareness with leaves and kernels. The Gardener is our Mother, our Father. It loves us, and all it wants is for us to grow beautiful, strong, flexible, fertile and wise, so we can really love it back.

When we are unaware, we are not seen and recognized as the Children of Life that we are or can be.

As the reflection, one rides on the surface of things. Are we organizing ourselves into a Face that can see with eyes, listen with ears, and speak with a mouth to Sacred Creation?

As the Mirror, we focus our gaze—our senses—on what’s important: the source of meaningfulness, the source of all life. Through our song, we organize our being, as an individual, into its place as a cell in the body of something vastly greater, something Great.

Then, from that view, we honor the Great, and by so doing, we honor ourselves as we really are.

We are united. Anything that makes us feel non-unified has a remedy.

So, we enact an elaborate or a basic practice, repeating through meaningful Time, that sings the name of Creation, the myriad poetic names of God, back to Itself. The traditions hold these practices and transmit them to ones who continue the traditions, enlivening and revitalizing the old way.

And by so doing, we find or place, joyfully, in Life As It Is.

Q: What sees/ gazes at the Pole Star?

The fire at the heart of Earth.

Mother Earth’s heart honors the larger center.

Q: What sees/ gazes at what is real and meaningful about life?

Our heart, that part of us that has never forgotten or abandoned the Unity that we actually are.
